The central objective of the present article is to comprehend the related motivations to the independence political party’s movement in Scotland during and after BREXIT. It aims to answer the question: "in what ways do the issues motivating Scottish independence sentiment during and post-BREXIT pointed out by the literature accord with the manifestos of pro-independence parties in the nation?". The central results of the study indicated a convergence between the main indicator pointed in academic debate and the policies of the main pro-independence political parties of the nation, establishing the “Self-determination” factor as the central one in this analysis.
