This work conducts a study on the phenomenon of labor migration, based on the international and sexual division of labor. It demonstrates the persistence of female vulnerability in precarious occupations, such as domestic work, and how this intensifies for migrants. The analysis deals with South-South Migration and its object of study is Filipino women who live in the city of São Paulo employed as domestic workers. From the bibliographical survey carried out and the empirical study presented, it is possible to show that the insertion of migrant women in this occupation in Brazil takes place in a scenario of greater protection directed to this work by Brazilian laws, which displeases employers, who choose to hiring of more eligible workers who accepted their conditions. With regard to Filipino workers, it should be noted that they are hired for their fluency in English and their availability to carry out various tasks.
