About the Journal
Focus and Scope
Revista Ratio Iuris is an academic journal created by Law students at the Center for Legal Sciences at UFPB. Its objective is to encourage scientific production in Law, through the publication of unpublished articles prepared by students or teachers from any institutions, whether national or foreign.
Scientific production unquestionably represents the most effective way to disseminate knowledge. In this context, the Ratio Iuris Magazine emerges as a unique instrument, whose main purpose is to facilitate and strengthen the progress of education supported by the fundamental tripod: Teaching, Research and Extension.
Periodicity and publication
The Ratio Iuris Magazine is published every six months and complies with the required standards in terms of normalization and quality, in accordance with the relevant standards of the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards (ABNT).
Furthermore, the Ratio Iuris Magazine will be made available in electronic format on its website, publicly, free of charge and with access to the full texts.
Submission and Review
Only works written in Portuguese, original and unpublished, that are not being evaluated for publication by another journal will be accepted by the Editorial Board and sent for evaluation.
Articles and case studies sent to the Journal will be reviewed by the Board of Evaluators using the blind peer review system. The evaluators will issue opinions on the possibility of publishing the work.
