O mais novo livro do professor Johnni Langer, reconhecido com um grande escandinavista brasileiro, lança seu mais novo livro com o tema da recepção artística dos mitos nórdicos. O material foi lançado pela editora da UFPB durante o início de 2025 e trata de diversos assuntos como história, arte e mitologia. Neste livro será tematizada a teoria da recepção tendo como sua origem na Alemanha durante a década de 1960, atrelada aos estudos em literatura e seguindo pela evolução artística entre o século XVIII e XIX. Com o passar do tempo, a teoria da recepção encontra campo metodológico nas artes, história e outros. Nessa evolução sobre a teoria da recepção entendemos que não apenas a obra de arte é considerada uma criação e objeto de investigação, sobretudo, podemos também citar a relação estabelecida entre o objeto e o público leitor e receptor.
