Call for papers: Scandia 3, 2020.The third edition of Scandia - Journal of Medieval Norse Studies (ISSN: 2595-9107) is going to present free thematic sessions of articles and reviews. It will, therefore, accept papers involving any area or field of Norse studies regarding Viking Age and Medieval Scandinavia: History, Literature, Archaeology, Politics, Mythology, Religion, Gender, and others. Multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary approaches will be most welcome. Contributions are accepted in English, Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese. All proposals must be submitted no later than May 31, 2020, through the website https://periodicos.ufpb.br/index.php/scandia/about/submissions and require registration.Convocatoria de publicación: Scandia 3, 2020.La tercera edición de la revista Scandia (ISSN: 2595-9107) contendrá tema libre (secciones de artículos y reseñas), que involucrará cualquier área o campo de estudios nórdicos de la Era Vikinga y Escandinavia Medieval: historia, literatura, arqueología, política, mitología, religión y género entre otros. Los enfoques que enfaticen la interdisciplinariedad y la multidisciplinariedad serán bienvenidos. Se aceptan contribuciones en inglés, español, francés, italiano y portugués. Todas las propuestas deben enviarse antes del 31 de mayo de 2020. Scandia: Journal of Medieval Norse Studies (ISSN: 2595-9107) is the annual journal published by NEVE – Nucleus of Vikings and Scandinavian Studies, an academic research group registered at the Brazilian National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq). Scandia is related to the Postgraduate Program of Religious Studies of the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB) and fosters approaches to Old Norse Studies, mainly the Viking Age. Published works include many perspectives of the Human Sciences concerning the journal’s general field of research, especially those regarding Mythology, Religion, History, Literature, and Archaeology.
Scandia publishes original papers, reviews, and translations in English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, and Italian. Works may be submitted continuously.
The journal is indexed in Norwegian Register for Scientific Journals, Series and Publishers, IBICT/Diadorim (ISSN: 2595-9107), Latindex, WorldCat.org, Bibliothekssystem Universität Hamburg, Universitätsbibliothek Leipzig and  Biblioteca Central da Universidade Nacional Autônoma do México (UNAM).
Scandia: Journal of Medieval Norse Studies (ISSN: 2595-9107) é um periódico anual publicado pelo NEVE – Núcleo de Estudos Vikings e Escandinavos, um grupo de pesquisa registrado no Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico (CNPq). O Scandia está vinculado ao Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciências das Religiões da Universidade Federal da Paraíba (UFPB) e volta-se para as investigações sobre Estudos Nórdicos Antigos e Medievais, principalmente acerca da Era Viking. Os trabalhos publicados inserem-se em muitas perspectivas das Ciências Humanas referentes à grande área de pesquisa do periódico, especialmente no que tange à Mitologia, Religião, História, Literatura e Arqueologia.
O Scandia publica artigos originais, resenhas e traduções em inglês, português, espanhol, francês e italiano. Trabalhos podem ser submetidos em fluxo contínuo.
