Abstract

Mr. Frog holds a PhD in Scandinavian studies from University College London (2010) and is an Associate Professor at the University of Helsinki (Folklore Studies/Department of Cultures). He is co-editor of the books Contacts and Networks in the Baltic Sea Region: Austmarr as a Northern Mare nostrum, ca. 500–1500 AD (2019); Genre – Text – Interpretation: Multidisciplinary Perspectives on Folklore and Beyond (2016); Mythic Discourses: Studies in Uralic Traditions (2012); Versatility in Versification: Multidisciplinary Approaches to Metrics (2009).
