A MULHER NO MARACATU RURAL: UMA ANÁLISE SEMIÓTICA / WOMAN IN MARACATU RURAL: A SEMIOTIC ANALYSIS

Resumo

RESUMO — O presente artigo busca analisar, tomando por base o cabedal teórico-metodológico da semiótica francesa, o percurso gerativo do sentido da composição poética de improviso da mestra Gil, do maracatu rural Coração Nazareno, em sua apresentação durante o Encontro Anual dos Maracatus no carnaval de 2011, em Nazaré da Mata, PE, Brasil. Nossos resultados comprovaram que, como há uma ancoragem discursiva, por parte do sujeito-enunciador, em relação ao discurso, ao tempo e ao local da enunciação, são externados os valores sociais deste sujeito. Vale salientar que o Coração Nazareno está ligado a Associação de Mulheres de Nazaré da Mata (AMUNAM) e, por conseguinte, serve como um propagador do discurso de luta pela igualdade entre homens e mulheres, o que também ficou comprovado em nossa análise.

ABSTRACT— This article seeks to analyze, based on the theoretical and methodological line of French semiotics, the generative route of the sense of poetic composition of master Gil, that leads maracatu rural Coração Nazareno, during her presentation at the Annual Meeting of Maracatus on carnival 2011, in Nazaré da Mata, PE, Brazil. Our results showed that, as there is a discursive anchor, by the subject-enunciating, in relation to speech, time and place of enunciation, are externalized social values of this subject. It is worth noting that ‘Coração Nazareno’ is on the Association of Women from Nazaré da Mata (AMUNAM) and, therefore, serves as a propagator of the discourse of the struggle for equality between men and women, which was also proven in our analysis.
