The digital narrator:

the blogger's role as a narrator of facts in personal diaries on the Web

Abstract

This article aims to discuss the role of bloggers in personal diaries on the Web, as narrators of the published reports. First, you’’ll see the virtual diary – blog –, its characteristics, scope and types, as well as the role played by the writer of virtual diary – the blogger. In a second step, from the text “The narrator comments on the work of Nikolai Leskov”, Walter Benjamin, will present the similarities between the narrator oral studied by Benjamin and the role played by the blogger, making comparisons between them and identifying the role of the blogger as narrator of intimate writing on the web. The methodology was adopted literature, exploratory, seeking to gather information and data to make comparisons between the blogger and the narrator characterized by Benjamin.
