Solubilization of nutrients and amendment of soil fertility from the addition of Eichhornia crassipes (Mart. Solms.) in consortium with granite cutting residues

Abstract

The objective of this work was to verify the effects of rock formation on the physical, chemical and microbiological aspects of a solitary Haplicoplane and the growth of Pensacola grass (Paspalum notatum). The experiment was conducted in a greenhouse and consisted of 4 treatments: soil of sample area with three doses of marbled residues (8, 16, and 32 t ha-1), combined with 8 t ha-1 of organic residues (Eichhornia crassipes), generating 3 treatments, plus an additional one, with the soil of preserved sampling area, used as a reference, all with three replicates per treatment. Chemical and microbiological analyzes of the soil were carried out, as well as measures of height, dry and fresh mass of shoot, and root system of plants. The results indicate that the procedures with granite and E. crassipes residues contributed to improving the chemical conditions of the subsoil and to provide good results for the microbiological conditions, while the plants showed the greatest growth in the treatments in which were added higher concentrations of marble residues.
