Community libraries: concept mapping and analyzing discourse

Abstract

The Information Science has a variety of types of libraries, including libraries have community. Our goal here is to work with the conceptual question that surrounds the term community library, considering its use in the scientific literature of developed nations, and developing specific case of Brazil. Present actions developed by these institutions in other countries allows us to observe the information used as an important input for these subjects in the improvement of living conditions and quality of life of different communities.
