SCIENTIFIC PRODUCTION OF LECTURES IN THE COMMUNICATION FIELD

Abstract

A description of the scientific production in the communication field from the lectures of the “Escola de Comunicações e Artes. Universidade de São Paulo” was made. The documents produced by them were analysed in accordance to: type, language, period distribution and authorship. The authors were identified in “great”, “moderate” and “low” productors. A similar production in the different communication sub fields were showed. A predominance of journal articles were verified, as well as most of the production had only one author.
