THE ERGONOMICS AND THE ENVIRONMENT OF WORK: reflections on the ergonomics contributions in libraries

Abstract

The ergonomics studies the adequacy of the work to the man and can contribute for the improvement of processes, productivity, work environment, amongst others. The ergonomics in environment of libraries still is a study field that has much to contribute as for the practical one. In this direction, the objective article to carry through a theoretical research of as the ergonomics if relates with the environment of libraries and which the contributions that it can provide. First, a theoretical incursion in the beddings becomes that support the study finally and, some reflections on the physical and ambient aspects of libraries.
