NEEDS AND INFORMATION USES: a study with doctors of the Family Health Unit, from the Sanitary District V, of João Pessoa city, PB.

Abstract

Research performed with doctors introduced  to Family Health Program, with the goal of analyzing the needs and information uses of  doctors of the Family Health Units – FHU, from the Sanitary District V, of João Pessoa city, PB, For this has been used theoretical reference of Users Study, in the alternative perspective and under the focus of Brenda Dervin’s “Sense-Making” patterrn. The data collect has been done through questionnaires. The results have showed that the doctors have no relation with information through Internet searches, constantly live with problems of physical, information, material and human order at the FHU and in a incipient way give sense and significance to the obtained information
