Abstract

A differential in the competitiveness of an organization is its ability to improve the use of knowledge, which sometimes is restricted to certain people or departments of organizations. The dissemination of knowledge and the need to learn continuously proving to be indispensable requirements in the current context, characterized by increased flow of information and skills required for the job. To disseminate information sharing is essential and continuous learning. In that sense, the present study has the objective of verifying how it happens the knowledge sharing and learning in a traditional agribusiness food placed in Areia – PB city. In methodological terms, the research is characterized as case study, of qualitative approach. The collection of data was accomplished by interviews with route semi-structured based on the model of sharing of Tonet and Paz (2006), and your interpretation was based on a content analysis, besides the observation non participant in the intention of capturing information not revealed during the application of the interviews. The results indicated that in the studied industry the principal problems concentrate on the initial phase of the sharing process, for there not being a formal and organized way of change of experiences and information and for the non development of a favorable culture to the knowledge sharing.
