SPANISH AND PORTUGUESE LANGUAGES AND THE DEMOCRATIZATION OF THE INFORMATION TO THE MERCOSUL
Abstract
Latin American cultural integration is faced with linguistic questions, arising from the origin and similarity of the two languages spoken in the region, Spanish and Portuguese, in addition to shortcomings in the information sector. References to the European Economic Community highlight the need for information services for the Mercosul and reinforce the importance of Spanish, considered the second language in terms of world reach, and the advantages that this could bring for Brazilian professionals from the field of Information Science, with regard to programs of international cooperation, study grants and openings in the work market.Downloads
