INFORMATION AND CONSTRUCTION OF CITIZENSHIP: representation of the information actions of the Casa Pequeno Davi

Abstract

Information characterizes for helping human development. Considering such aspect, in this paper we tried to analyze the representations produced by the egresses, from the information actions in the Casa Pequeno Davi (CPD). The subjects of the research were the coordinators and egresses of the CPD between the years of 1998 and 2003. The research was carried out in two phases: one exploratory and another focused. The data had been analyzed on the basis of the Analysis of Content (AC) and application of the technique of Analysis of Enunciation (AE). The participation in the information cycle meant for involved individuals the shortening of the existing gap of information and set of information, that was established as an operator of relations between the material and the symbolic worlds in the formation of the citizens.
