Abstract

This article aims to analyze the process of discontinuity in the management of Public Health Policy in Pernambuco municipalities in Cabo de Santo Agostinho, Caruaru, Igarassu, Petrolina, Tamandaré from 2010 to 2018. Therefore, an interview was conducted with managers of the respective counties. As a result, there is an intense political discontinuity in the exchange of governments, mainly in opposition parties. Ratifying that this change in political command raises doubts about the continuity of previously developed policies and also causes the loss of many political actions already developed. With the time cut to previous government administrations, it can be compromised, because the change of management people results in an interruption based on unexperienced experience, the successor management being based on quantitative data and little memory.
