LEGISLAÇÃO E POLÍTICA FUNDIÁRIA NO ESTADO DO PARANÁ (1889-1945)

Abstract

The process on the elaboration of land-ownership laws is provided after the proclamation of the first republican constitution in Brazil which made it mandatory for the newly constituted states to organize and legislate on land ownership. The core of current analysis comprises the formation of land ownership in the state of Paraná, Brazil. The essay establishes a wider dialogue between the regional and national stance and between the political debate on property laws and the tensions arising therein.
