Abstract

Based on the term footprint as a reference to gait mode and trace of steps, I propose, in this text, to focus on the news of the death of a research interlocutor, focusing on the emergence of the 'elderly person on the street' as a politician subject in São Paulo, who resided in a shelter. As I approach a discussion around emotions and join with not detaining separately and censoring a part of what Florence Weber (2009) called an intimate diary, based on affections, I try to reflect on the issues: of how to honor who has anonymity; difference between visiting and living in institutions and the relationship between subjectivities and processes for appointing interlocutors.
