The anguish phenomenon: interfaces between Graciliano Ramos and Sartre

This text has the purpose of dialoguing through a philosophical and literary bias, the theme of the phenomenon of anguish, from a sartrian perpective against the background of the novel Angústia (1936) by Graciliano Ramos. If, for Sarte, anguish is ontophenomenological iy constitutive of the human condition, Graciliano portrays the phenomeno of anguish by describing the subject as a being who is free while trapped in his own freedon, experiencing anguish in his existence.
