ANALYSIS OF THE SCHOLARLY LITERATURE ABOUT THE CAPES PORTAL O SCIENTIFIC JOURNALS

Abstract

Given its importance, relevance and size, the CAPES Portal of Scientific Journals should be objectof attention and study of professionals and researchers. Nevertheless, publications about this digital library frequently mention the lack of studies about it. Despite the small volume of works, there is also no overview of the focus and results of the research conducted. To fill these gaps and answer questions such as who has been doing research about the Capes Portal, where, when and in which journals and conferences the research has been published and what are the objects and objectives of these studies, this article presents an analysis of 40 works about the Capes Portal.
