THE INFORMATION EXCHANGE APPROACH FROM THREE NETWORK PERSPECTIVES

Abstract

This article analyses the present reality of three types of world networks, highlighting the social aspect, which institutes them, but without ignoring the technological and practical limitations, which characterise them. It sets out a panoramic view of the socio-economic reality seen through the prism of the information revolution and discusses how different currents act and react within a society connected in networks. It also makes inroads into those movements which gained new impetus with the Internet, but which comprehend that the true challenge is in organising on a global scale and the most important that of developing a collective conscience of solidarity. Companies, when faced by this reality, discover that despite increasing competition, the new technologies also constitute ways of simplifying actions with the easy exchange of information between partners and clients.
