Digital Literacy: proposition of methodological parameters for training in informational compe

Much has been discussed on Digital Literacy, but is almost nonexistent the identification of the skills required for the development of this process. In order to integrate to the process of Digital Literacy the specific informational skills for the subject to dominate, search, retrieve and use the information in an efficiently way, whether in the professional, academic or personal life, it has been developed this study, whose overall objective is to propose methodological parameters for training in informational skills. Otherwise, the specific objectives associate itself on one hand to gathering and identifying the desired skills of the participants in the Digital Literacy program. The methodological procedures applied to research have exploratory character, using two tools: the literature research and case studies. Besides having the methodology in structured information expertise, the study finds that the country is too far from the desirable concerning development and deployment of consistent Digital Literacy programs enough to sustain the teaching-learning in the search, recovery and use of information by participant individuals. Therefore, it is essential to create programs that provide not only machinery, but that enable individuals in informational skills, so they can acquire learning throughout life.Downloads
