Abstract

The present study aims at the accomplishment of the retrospective periodical collection of the Fundação Oswaldo Cruz’s (FIOCRUZ) Manguinhos library, with the project by the Fundação Carlos Chagas Filho de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (FAPERJ). The project arose from the necessity to make available for the scientific community, the retrospective periodical collection. Thus, it was necessary to check the reality of the bookshelves with existing information in the data base Acervo On-line library collection and in the national collective catalogs described in this study.
