Abstract

This article seeks to identify some of the principle themes in Brazilian children's literature such as intertextuality, paratextuality, - autotextuality and metalanguage, taking 1970 as its starting point. The body of literature analysed includes books by Jó Oliveira, Angela Lago, Bartolomeu Campus Queiros, Lygia Bojunga Nunes e Marcos Bagno.
