PROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR, ETHICAL SPEECH AND DISCOURSE ETHICS IN THE LIBRARIAN PRACTICE

Abstract

It analyzes the Professional Ethical subject as part of the results of studies in development in the Núcleo de Informação, Pesquisas e Estudos em Educação Bibliotecária of the UFSC, in the thematic field Education in the Information and Library Science. It examines, comparatively to the Discourse Ethics theory how the current ethical speech of the Brazilian librarian, is constructed. The conclusion points to the relevance of the insertion of the presumptions and rules of the Discourse Ethics in the ethical speech of the Brazilian librarian.
