Abstract

This text disserts about Heritage Education and Library Science, arguing about the interaction between both and also about the possibilities of the librarian's performance as a patrimonial educator. It treats the book as a document and cultural heritage. It also suggests the adoption of a terminology in Heritage Education interrelated with Library Science, Archival Science and Museology. It proposes activities in Heritage Education applied to Library Science.
