Public image design of Libraries of the state of poles Ceará

Abstract

It brings the concept of public image applied to public libraries that are part of SEBP / CE (State System of Public Libraries / Ceará), constructed from the self-image, which represents the internal image of the organization, the picture intentionally: communicable identity, and image functional, operational capability of the organization. Seek theoretical support in the design of public image Poyares (1998, p. 87) believes that image as a simplified representation that emerges in people's minds, as the synthesis of one or more sensations or perceptions. This is a doctoral research in progress and this cut contains the guiding theoretical constructs that underlie the research regarding the factors that contribute to the design image of the public library. Theories of Gestalt (psychology) and institutional (management) will help build the theoretical foundation for the research approach. We will bring some notes from the literature about the image of the public library as a whole to assist in the design of public image of libraries poles of the state of Ceará.
