Evgeny Pashukanis’ most well-known text, The general theory of law and marxism, produced from its publication in 1924, a remarkable impact on the marxist theory of law. Before its publication, between 1921 and 1923, Pashukanis had produced important texts in which significant aspects of his fundamental work are pointed out. In The general theory of law and marxism, Pashukanis follow the methodological indications of Marx's Introduction of 1857 and takes the legal subject form as starting point for the critic of law. Therefore, Pashukanis manages to present the legal form as historic, specifically capitalist phenomenon.Downloads
