Direitos Humanos, instituições de justiça e cidadania: a erosão da confiança em um contexto de alta criminalidade.

Abstract

The Brazilian society is marked by the accented distance between the social classes. Thus it makes difficulties in the acceptance of the formal principles of equality. Together to such characteristics, and very in function of them, it is related to the increase of the violence and the crimes. In Salvador, as in other Brazilian cities, it has been observed social supports for illegal of extermination of "marginals" and a recurrent use of the force in the solution of conflicts. Such facts find resonance in the personal or collective disposals to act in contradiction with the principles of the human rights of respect the life and the human dignity.
