Mapping the subjectivities: techniques of strategic management of the life in the province of Parahyba do Norte

Abstract

The strategies launched to manage populations which are grouped in a specific region can be written as a history. This text intends to investigate this history in a given region of Brazil, and follow its traces. Maybe it sketches how the government of masses, bodies and consciences took shape. What questions would be related with this face of managing? What kind of plot is placed between strategy policies and knowledge? So what knowledge would be implicated inside those relations? Therefore, what will be pronounced in the next pages is more than a history of us. It is a History written through the internal codes of administrative knowledge. We focus the problematic of these biopolitical plots and its implications into the making of subjectivities.
