Abstract

This essay aims to answer in a clear and impartial way, which are the Brexit's impacts from an analysis of 2017 and 2019 United Kingdom's general elections results, looking at the  Scottish and Northern Irish nationalist parties performance, Scottish National Party (SNP) and Sinn Féin (SF) respectively. It has been noticed that in a scenario of national identity crisis at United Kingdom's state members, the voters come to elect Members of Parlament linked to nationalist movements. To do so, it was used standard technical literature, to draw a concept of the main terms to be analyzed, and as well to evaluate the political performance of the referred parties, it was used news reports and opinion polls, and analysis on Westminster's composition as well, since the 2014's referendum to  Scotland's independence. In such way it became possible to put into context  the classical scholars concepts with the political overview at the given time, including comparative tables on the mentioned modifications, so its a research  based on descriptive content analysis.
