Abstract

This article is an adaptation of the transcript of the episode Beyond what is seen: other sensibilities in field research, of the podcast that was then called Observantropologia, which aired on different streaming platforms in August 2020. In this episode, Stephanie Sacco interviews professor Maria Elena Martinez Torres and then master's student Fabricio Brugnano, in an exploration of possible sensitivities, in the face of the isolation caused by covid-19, for field research and the teaching of Anthropology. The discussion led to a methodological laboratory that considered research alternatives that involve the body and the implicated experience of the researcher and the student with senses beyond sight and hearing.
