Abstract

This article is dedicated to exploring the creative potential of expressive phenomena, following Maurice Merleau-Ponty's phenomenology of expressivity. Expressivity is revealed here as a transitional phenomenon, whose emergence and processuality are investigated. By exploring expressive phenomena in their eventfulness, the article resorts to a form of mediality that precedes both pure activity and rigid passivity. The argument culminates in the theory of a relational fabric of subjectivity, sense, sociocultural world, and expressivity
