Updating registration of authors and reviewers

Culturas Midiáticas (CM) Journal is sponsored by the Graduate Program in Communication of the Federal University of Paraíba. The Journal is restructuring its processes of submission, evaluation and publication of articles since 2019, when a new editorial team took over.

As a new stage of this restructuring, we are now starting to update the register of authors, reviewers and other colleagues linked to the Journal. This measure aims to keep our bank of collaborators always active and in constant renewal, so that the knowledge shared by CM can impact a larger number of people.

We ask everyone to update the following information IN THE PROFILE: 

"IDENTIFICATION" tab:

1 - INCLUDE FULL NAME - NO ABBREVIATIONS, WHEN POSSIBLE, KEEPING ONLY THE REFERENCED LAST NAME IN THE "LAST NAME" FIELD.

"CONTACT" tab

1 - UPDATE E-MAIL, IF NECESSARY;

2 - INCLUDE THE NAME OF THE INSTITUTION TO WHICH YOU ARE LINKED - IN CASE OF A PROFESSIONAL WITHOUT FORMAL LINK, REGISTER THE LAST INSTITUTION TO WHICH YOU HAVE BEEN LINKED TO;

3 - MARK THE LANGUAGES IN WHICH YOU CAN WRITE AND READ WITH SOME PROFICIENCY - MANDATORY FOR AUTHORS AND REVIEWERS;

"ROLE" tab

1 - SPECIFY ITS ROLE IN THE JOURNAL  -- IF READER, AUTHOR OR APPRAISER) - THE JOURNAL ONLY ACCEPTS PHDS AS REVIEWERS, WHILE THE AUTHORS HAVE NO TITLE RESTRICTIONS, STARTING WITH THE GRADUATE.

"PUBLIC" tab

1 - REGISTER AN ABSTRACT OF YOUR BIOGRAPHY, UPDATING YOUR ACADEMIC TITLES, RESEARCH, INTERESTS AND OTHER RELEVANT INFORMATION - THESE DATA WILL BE IN YOUR PUBLIC PROFILE.

2 – REGISTER URL OF YOUR PROFILE IN THE ORCID PLATFORM - MANDATORY FOR AUTHORS AND EVALUATORS (FOR THOSE WHO ARE NOT REGISTERED IN THIS PLATFORM, REGISTER THROUGH THE LINK https://orcid.org/signin)

"NOTIFICATIONS" tab

1 - MAKE SURE THAT ALL ITEMS STARTING WITH THE WORD "DISPLAY" ARE MARKED, SO THAT YOU ARE INFORMED OF NEW EDITIONS, CALLS OR NEWS.
