Abstract

In this article, we propose the debate about the documentary nowadays. The influence of new techniques, the tension between the real record and fictionalization, and the position of the viewer, before the genre, composing discussion. The questioning on the subject will be promoted through references to theorists and filmmakers, and their positions in relation to the new/old direction of documentary movies.
