This research investigates the process that gave rise to the construction of the fan community of the 18th edition of the reality show Big Brother Brasil. Through a non-participative virtual ethnographic study during the period before the program's debut, we analyzed the distribution and circulation actions proposed by BBB on the web, and how these strategies were based on the activity and participation of the fans. This work reflects on the particularities of the participatory culture and subculture fan as it relates to the flow of language and interaction and delves into how the fan activity has reconfigured the television experience.
