The present work deals with the process of occupation of the Amazon region, through nationalist policies implemented since the 1960s. Having as a landmark the period of the Military Government, through the National Integration Program - PIN, which culminated in the creation of the project of the Federal Highway BR - 210 (Perimetral Norte). In addition to the territorial policies in the Amazon, there is a contextualization of the main roads in the state of Roraima, which played an important role in the occupation process of the then state, with the vast majority of the migrant population coming from the Northeast region of the country. These interstate migrants will contribute significantly to the colonization process in the southeastern region of Roraima, in which they are reterritorializing.Downloads
