Information Society: Internet Responsibility And The Misuse Of Technology, The Search For Ethics In Digital Agreement

This article analyzes responsibility as a fundamental precept for living in the digital environment and users' behavior when misusing technology in new media. The research was based on deductive and descriptive legal methods, with bibliographic and documentary research. Criminal and non-criminal liability of users and internet providers were addressed, identifying what is available in the internal legal system to deal with harmful conduct. The study ended with a reflection on the need to reassess the behavior of users on the Internet in search of more responsible behaviors.
