This article aims to study the use of concentration camps as laboratories to experiment the totalitarian desire for total world domination. To do so, it is necessary to analyze the totalitarian regime which, according to Arendt, would be a totally new experience, given the importance of propaganda in the dissemination of lies as a way of attracting the masses, the creation of a fictitious world, the use of terror asits essence, and all the other atrocities practiced by these regimes that led to the extermination of thousands of people in the concentration camps in their gas chambers. With this, we seek to understand, minimally, the ways and means that were used by the totalitarian regimes to make the concentration camps possible. That said, we also intend to have a dialogue with Hannah Arendt, in order to understand the atrocities carried out by Nazism, which led the interns of the concentration camps to go to the gas chambers to die, without presenting any resistance. To do so, we take Hannah Arendt's Origins of Totalitarianism as the main support to think about these proposed issues.
