AVALIAÇÃO FISIOTERAPÊUTICA DO DESENVOLVIMENTO NEUROPSICOMOTOR DE CRIANÇAS EM CENTROS DE EDUCAÇÃO INFANTIL DO MUNICÍPIO DE CURITIBA/PR: FATORES ASSOCIADOS E TERRITÓRIO

Abstract

Introduction: The environment and the quality of stimuli offered to the individual during childhood can lead to adversities in relation to the child neuropsychomotor development process (CNDP). It is necessary to understand how the environment can influence the CNDP and the factors that influence it. Methods: Observational, cross-sectional, explanatory study with qualitative approaches, documentation and questionnaire techniques. Child development screening tools such as the Denver Screening Test II and Sociodemographic Questionnaire were used. For the comparison and display of data, the geographic tool My Maps was used. Results: The study foud negative variables for the CNDP process, such as: lack of information from those responsible during the prenatal phase, low family income, father absence and possible influence of the environment in which they live. Conclusion: the participants who were at risk for the CNDP had in common the absence of a father, a family monthly income below the adequate level, less than six prenatal consultations, which can characterize a lack of information, in addition to living in areas with a high crime rate.
