Abstract

This survey reflects the supply of specialized courses in Religious Education and aimed to verify the construction of a course of graduate two assumptions: the epistemological and pedagogical. From these assumptions, we try to relate the production of this course and students who have established links between scientific knowledge and school knowledge. The research was based on a study by Junqueira (2010), the curriculum of a course in foundation and methodology of Religious Education at a distance and the production of texts and articles for students. It was found that there is an appropriation of the discourse, but not the concepts, and students can not make the leap teaching. In teacher training that transposition is necessary because it is this expertise that is required of the educator. Propose and discuss features for teaching Religious Education means to analyze and understand this discipline in the set of theories of education and teacher training in thinking. This would provide an identity for teaching Religious Education. The approach between academic knowledge and practical knowledge demands a lot of research to contribute to the theoretical and epistemological teacher, because this is training that will allow you to establish more complex practice.
