Abstract

When we implement teaching strategies based on Active Methodologies, learning becomes more attractive, as students stop being mere spectators to become active participants in the construction of their knowledge. In view of this idea, the objective of this study is to examine the studies already carried out in the area, particularly with regard to the application of Active Methodologies in the Religious Education component. To this end, we adopted a qualitative methodology with a descriptive focus, using the methodological consultation technique. As for the data, they were examined through Content Analysis. Considering the reflections on the seven (7) researches, this review highlighted the significant relevance of the planned application of Active Methodologies in Religious Education, ensuring a more dynamic, critical and inclusive learning. In the end, the research points out that the integration of technology in this field must be done in a strategic and pedagogical way, so that its use favors a more interactive and relevant teaching. The area of Religious Sciences is established as a fundamental basis for improving teaching, promoting a plural and phenomenological perspective. Therefore, developing well-designed pedagogical strategies and implementing the continuing education of teachers can be essential for the transformation of Religious Education, adapting it to the current demands of education.
