algumas perversões em Laços de Família
Keywords:
Clarice Lispector, Psychoanalysis, Literary CriticismAbstract
Starting from Joyce McDougall's conceptualizations about perversion, developed in the book The many faces of Eros, we will analyze characters, mainly women, from the book Laços de Família by Clarice Lispector, from the different occurrences of the look. In the first part, we will follow, in the short story “Laços de família”, the change in the relationship between Catarina and Severina after the unexpected bodily contact between them and the change in the daughter’s ability to look at her mother. In the second part, we will see the girl from the short story “Preciosidade” and the figuration of the look that does not see the other, the perverse look. In the last part, we will follow other characters seeking to build the relationship between the gaze deviation and the characters' addictions, in order to perceive domestic work and the uncontrollable search for love, among others, as the targets of the deviations.
