Abstract

The historical context that we are experiencing reverberates in questions of how society is dealing with the social phenomenon through COVID-19. The current global pandemic situation is causing immeasurable deaths from the Coronavirus. As a result, we aim to develop reflections on the post-mortem system of these victims, from a technical point of view and on their symbolic implications in the ritualistic process and their resignifications with the dead body. These changes have proven to be elements that make it difficult to cope with the pain of loss, making these new practices a biosafety system.
