Abstract

This essay aims to address the role of social sovements in the pandemic period of the new coronavirus. Elaborating a specific cut in the use of digital tools and in the engagement of political activism of young people through social networks, used by the student movement in virtual acts. Starting from a socio-anthropological reflection as researchers in the field of youth and social movements, we perceive the internet as a means of organizing these movements. Promoting cyberspace for the mobilization of militants, the movements that previously occupied the streets, now occupy social networks and compete in the virtual field.
