Captura de Insetos Utilizando um Novo Modelo de Armadilha com Garrafa PET em uma Área do IFPB Campus Campina Grande, PB
Abstract
The paper of this study was to test the effectiveness of a new model of trap made from PET soda bottles from 2 liters to capture insects, thereby providing a useful tool for those packages that have become one of the modern environmental problems destiny. 3 openings of 5x5 cm were made, with distance of 6 cm from one to another, leaving an apparatus for landing insects. We used 4 types of baits. We collected eight orders of insects. The highest incidence was the Hymenoptera. The traps that captured the largest amount were with non-alcoholic beer and pineapple juice and that was the lowest captured with passion fruit juice. Regarding diversity, the trap with cashew juice collected 7 orders; those who collected the lowest diversity were with beer and pineapple juice). These results demonstrated that the new model is efficient trap for catching insects, suggesting more a useful target for these packages.Downloads
