As multifaces da leitura: a construção dos modos de ler

This article approaches the different reading processes, especially the learning and teaching ones , and its purpose is to retake discussions abaout the subject reader’s work in the classroom. The reading strategies in the classroom have gone through different models, according to the linguistic theories and their authors, throughout time. It retakes, as well, the various theories under the perspective of the language, surveying the different attitudes which contribute to the construction of the reading ways. It starts up with a new struturalist proposal and reaches the dialogical or partner-interacionist conception by Bakhtin (1981/1992), by François (1984/2000) and by Almeida (2004). The research shows that reading is a complex and dynamic process and, that reading is a way to see which depends on the interative movement of the author/reader/text in the production of senses. The conclusion highlights that reading, under the parner-interacionist perspective, is another way to contribute to the being reader in a re- signified world.
