Abstract

This paper discusses the importance of information management to promote the collective construction of the policy and the projects of social responsibility within an organization. Thus, it analyzes the participation of the internal public in this process, as well as specific strategies that the Information Science professional should use to mobilize this part of the public. This priority, developed from ethical principles is essential to the work of information management in the organizational scope, as the employees constitute themselves as a key to legitimize institutional efforts towards social responsibility.
