O COTIDIANO DE ESTRANGEIROS NUM LUGAR COSMOPOLITA: CORUMBÁ, 1870-1888

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to present a brief discussion on the presence and aspects of everyday life and work of foreigners in Corumbá, a city located on the western border of Brazil and Bolivia, at the end of slavery. Therefore, we used, among other types of sources, processes that crimes are documents that allow individuals into realizing their business. The depositions of witnesses, defendants, etc. applicants. provide clues about the existence of agreements, conflicts, alliances and friendships between foreign and domestic.
